Jenin: Mayor of Jenin Mohammed Jarrar stated that the Jenin refugee camp has become uninhabitable due to extensive destruction caused by Israeli forces. The damage includes 600 homes and the complete collapse of infrastructure.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli aggression on Jenin and its camp has persisted for 68 consecutive days, involving demolitions, house burnings, and the conversion of homes into military outposts. Reinforcements, including water tankers, have been deployed from the Jalameh checkpoint to the camp's perimeter, where road networks have been systematically destroyed.
Jarrar highlighted that the Israeli military has imposed a comprehensive siege on Jenin, home to 360,000 residents, and has conducted mass arrests affecting hundreds. The number of displaced individuals from the camp has reached 21,000.
The ongoing assault has resulted in 34 martyrs, numerous injuries, and widespread arrests and raids across Jenin's towns and villages.
