Occupation Forces Detain 20 Palestinians in West Bank

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 20 Palestinians, including children and former prisoners, in the occupied West Bank since last night.

According to Qatar News Agency, the arrests were carried out in the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces have continued their military assault on Jenin and Tulkarm for over two months, marked by ongoing raids, arrests, and field interrogations.

Since the beginning of the intensified campaign, the number of arrests in Jenin and its refugee camp has reached 600, while in Tulkarm and its camp, at least 250 individuals have been detained.

The widespread arrest campaigns have escalated in parallel with the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, as part of a policy of collective punishment pursued by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
