The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Monday condemned the ongoing war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people. The OIC also condemned in a statement the occupation's continued process of depriving the Palestinian civilians of food, water, medical care, and other basic services, as well as its targeting of workers at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), one of whose humanitarian convoys heading towards Gaza came under fire, in flagrant violation of international law and resolutions, issued by the UN Security Council, the General Assembly and the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The OIC once again called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards imposing a cessation of Israeli aggression, ensuring adequate and sustainable access to humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, confronting attempts at forced displacement of Palestinian civilians, and providing protection for the Palestinian people, in imp lementation of the relevant United Nations resolutions.
