Manama, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Ni Ruchi, the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain. Dr. Bin Daina highlighted the strong Bahrain-China relations. He emphasised the continuous cooperation in the environment and climate sectors, particularly in the protection of marine resources and fish stock development. The two parties reviewed ways to develop relations in various environmental areas in light of the joint technical programme in fisheries. Dr. Bin Daina commended the scientific, technological and technical progress of China in the farming and aquaculture sectors. The ambassador expressed his country's keenness to enhance relations and bolster support for Bahrain's initiatives in the protection of marine resources and aquaculture.
