Doha: Old Doha Port is set to host a new pre-owned boat show, the first event of its kind in the State of Qatar dedicated to the resale of pre-owned boats and maritime vessels. The event will run from May 5-7, 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, the port highlighted that the Mina Corniche will transform into a vibrant marine marketplace, where tradition fuses with trade, and every boat showcases a story ready for its next chapter. The event offers a unique space for boat owners, buyers, and marine enthusiasts to explore opportunities within Qatar's growing marine market.
The event will provide visitors with the opportunity to acquire boats and yachts at competitive prices, whether from individual owners or sector-based companies. It will be an integrated platform combining commercial offerings with authentic maritime experiences.
The show is poised to cement its position as a hub in the evolving calendar of maritime events in Qatar and the wider region. It will feature an open-air display of pre-owned yachts, superyachts, fishing boats, jet skis, and traditional dhow boats, all manufactured in 2007 or later with no size restrictions. Several service providers of maritime maintenance services will be present to provide essential technical services for sellers and buyers alike.
CEO of Old Doha Port, Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, stated: "The Mina Pre-Owned Boat Show reflects our vision for Old Doha Port as a place where community and commerce thrive side by side. By introducing Qatar's first boat and sea vessel resale exhibition, we are not only creating an important economic platform but also honoring our maritime identity in a contemporary way."
As part of its overarching vision, the port continues to activate its spaces through meaningful cultural, commercial, and community-focused marine experiences. This show underscores that mission by showcasing Qatar's evolving maritime economy while staying rooted in its long-standing connection to the sea.
