Oman and Burkina Faso Explore Economic and Investment Opportunities

Muscat: Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousuf, engaged in discussions with Burkina Faso's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean-Marie Traore, to explore avenues for enhancing economic and investment partnerships between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting held in Muscat on Sunday focused on identifying cooperation opportunities in various sectors of mutual interest. The discussions aimed at developing trade exchanges and encouraging reciprocal investments, which would contribute to shared economic growth for both countries.

The talks also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and fostering communication between public and private sector institutions. Both sides expressed interest in opening new avenues for cooperation in commercial, industrial, and investment areas.

The Omani Minister emphasized the country's commitment to expanding economic partnerships with African nations. This initiative aligns with 'Oman Vision 2040,' which seeks to diversify the economy, enhance business environment competitiveness, and attract quality investments.

This meeting is part of the Sultanate of Oman's broader efforts to strengthen international economic relations and build strategic partnerships that support sustainable development and mutual interests.
