Muscat, The Sultanate of Oman has announced the success of its efforts in the deal between the Iranian and Swedish governments to settle the issue of nationals detained in both countries. Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that in a response to the request of the Iranian and Swedish governments to help settle the issue of citizens detained in the two countries, the Omani efforts resulted in an agreement between the two sides on the mutual release, adding that those released were transferred from Tehran and Stockholm to Muscat today for their repatriation. The Sultanate of Oman valued the positive spirit that prevailed in the talks held in Muscat between the Iranian and Swedish sides, appreciating their keenness to settle this humanitarian matter.
