Muscat: Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, met with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Xiao Jie, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation. The meeting took place in Muscat and focused on the economic and trade sectors. Both parties expressed a strong interest in encouraging the establishment of additional joint investment projects, specifically in the renewable energy field.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also included deliberations on the current state of affairs at both regional and global levels. This meeting underscores the commitment of both Oman and China to further strengthen their collaborative efforts and explore new opportunities in the economic and energy sectors.
