The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strong condemnation and deep concern regarding an airstrike conducted by Israel on Iranian territory early this morning. In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman denounced Israel's ongoing practices that pose serious threats to regional stability and risk escalating unrest. Oman reiterated its call for the international community to take decisive and effective measures to halt such acts of aggression, emphasizing the urgent need to address repeated violations against neighboring nations in the region. Oman also renewed its appeal for a comprehensive approach to resolving regional crises by addressing their root causes, particularly through ending Israels illegal occupation of Palestinian and other Arab territories. The Sultanate underscored the importance of stopping hostilities in Gaza and adhering to United Nations and Security Council resolutions. Oman called for respecting the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, advo cating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders in line with the two-state solution and the Arab Peace Initiative, as the pathway to achieving a just and lasting peace for all parties.
