Muscat: Oman's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef met on Monday with Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel Al Wazir, who is visiting Oman. Their meeting explored ways to enhance industrial and commercial cooperation and boost investments between the two countries. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on identifying new opportunities for collaboration in the industrial sector. Both parties emphasized the importance of increasing bilateral trade and fostering a conducive environment for investment. The meeting underscored the commitment of Oman and Egypt to strengthen their economic ties and promote sustainable growth in key sectors. The officials also deliberated on strategies to overcome existing challenges in trade and investment, aiming to facilitate smoother economic exchanges. They agreed to continue dialogue and cooperation to achieve mutual benefits and drive economic pro gress.
