Oman, Slovakia Hold 1st Round of Political Consultations

Muscat: Oman and Slovakia held the first round of political consultations on Monday in the Omani capital, Muscat. The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, while the Slovak delegation was led by Marek Estok, a State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on bilateral relations and potential areas for cooperation. These discussions included investment opportunities, cultural exchanges, tourism collaboration, and the possibility of establishing direct air links between the two nations.

Additionally, the consultations covered regional and international issues of mutual interest, reflecting the commitment of both countries to strengthen their diplomatic ties and address global challenges together.
