Doha: The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the "New York Declaration" regarding the peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-State solution.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Saturday, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Security Council to support translating the declaration's provisions into concrete actions to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
