Manama, Faisal bin Hareb bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain, said that holding the Arab Summit in the Bahrain's for the first time emphasises its role in promoting joint Arab action, affirming the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa towards regional issues. In a statement to BNA, the ambassador highlighted the deep-rooted relations and strategic collaboration between Bahrain and other Arab countries, led by HM King Hamad. Al Busaidi commended Bahrain's leading initiatives and its commitment to contributing to upholding global peace and stability, guided by HM the King's vision of promoting values of coexistence and tolerance. Hosting the Arab summit is especially important during these times of global challenges, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip, he added, Al Busaidi emphasised the importance of Arab coordination efforts in achieving stability and sustainable development in the region, contributing to Arab peace and security, and supporting Arab and Islamic issues to achieve regional peace and security. The ambassador noted that Bahrain's hosting of the 33rd Arab Summit was a landmark achievement added to Bahrain's track record in hosting major regional and international events.
