Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met Monday with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who is visiting Muscat.

According to Qatar News Agency, discussions during the meeting dealt with areas of bilateral cooperation and joint action initiatives within the framework of the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council.

On the political front, the two sides discussed the most prominent regional and international developments, and the efforts exerted to address them through political and diplomatic means.

The two ministers stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between them, which will benefit both countries and the region, enhance regional security and stability, and support sustainable development efforts.
