Muscat: Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, and Austria's Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, discussed on Wednesday ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, on the sidelines of the meeting, the two ministers signed an agreement between their governments to eliminate double taxation with respect to income and capital, and to prevent tax evasion and avoidance.
