Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance it in a phone call on Monday. The conversation focused on the mutual interest in strengthening ties between Oman and Russia.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers also exchanged views on a number of current regional and international issues. They emphasized the importance of supporting dialogue and diplomacy to contribute to strengthening security and stability in various regions.
