Muscat: The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Belgian government's decision to open an embassy in the Sultanate of Oman. This announcement marks a significant step in strengthening diplomatic relations between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, this development was discussed during a telephone call between Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation, Maxime Prevost. The conversation also covered recent developments and included an exchange of views on various matters of mutual interest.
