One Killed, Another Injured in Two Israeli Raids in Eastern Lebanon

Beirut: One person was killed and another injured in two Israeli raids on eastern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health stated that the two raids, carried out by the Israeli army using a drone, targeted a car in Hermel city, eastern Lebanon. The preliminary toll from these raids is one death and one injury.

On January 26, the 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon ended, following the ceasefire agreement reached on November 27. The Lebanese government announced its approval to extend the deadline until February 18, while Israeli forces have withdrawn from all villages and towns except for five points in southern Lebanon.
