Lahore: The Pakistani military announced today that one civilian was killed and six others, including four soldiers, were injured as a result of Indian drones being shot down. The military confirmed that its air defenses had neutralized 25 Indian Harop drones.
According to Qatar News Agency, spokesperson for the Pakistani Army, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif, said that India carried out military aggression against Pakistan by launching drones at multiple locations, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi among other locations.
Relatedly, Pakistani Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, said his country would respond to any aggression, accusing India of violating international norms and laws, which would become a major source of conflict in the region.
Cross-border shelling between Pakistan and India continues along much of the Line of Control in Kashmir, following Indian airstrikes on several targets inside Pakistan. India claims the strikes targeted militant infrastructure linked to last month's attack in Kashmir.
