One Person Killed, Several Wounded in Series of Israeli Airstrikes on Eastern Lebanon

Jerusalem: Israeli warplanes have launched airstrikes on eastern Lebanon, resulting in one death and several injuries. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that a civilian was killed, and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a building in the city of Riyaq in the Bekaa Governorate.

According to Qatar News Agency, heavy airstrikes also targeted the eastern and western mountain ranges, and the sound of explosions shook the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon. The agency added that Israeli warplanes also launched three airstrikes on the Al Shaara area at the foot of the eastern Lebanese mountain range, and two airstrikes on the plains of the towns of Qasr Naba and Tamnin Al Tahta, west of Baalbek.

Earlier Friday, an Israeli airstrike killed one person and wounded several others when it targeted the Ain Al Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon.
