Doha: August 25 The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Disciplinary Committee announced today the penalties following the third round of the "Ooredoo Stars League." In a statement shared via the QFA's official account on the social media platform X, the committee revealed that Al-Shahania player Hossam Kamal Hassanein has been handed a two-match suspension and fined QAR 5,000 for violent conduct during his team's match against Al-Wakra in the third week of the Ooredoo Stars League. This decision is in accordance with Article 47-2-1 of the Disciplinary Regulations for the 2024-2025 sports season. Additionally, the committee issued a warning to Al-Rayyan player Rodrigo Machado for breaching general sportsmanship principles by entering the players' passage before the start of his team's match against Al-Gharafa in the third round. This action was deemed a violation under Article 44-9-1 of the Disciplinary Regulations. Furthermore, Al Rayyan Club was fined QAR 5,000 for delaying the start of the match between Al- Rayyan and Al-Gharafa, as per Article 52-1 of the Disciplinary Regulations. Source: Qatar News Agency
