Doha: OpenAI has released its latest AI model, GPT-5.2, featuring improved general intelligence, programming skills, and long-context understanding.

According to Qatar News Agency, the company stated that GPT-5.2 aims to boost user productivity, especially in tasks like spreadsheet creation, presentation design, and complex project management. It is now available via the ChatGPT app.

Chief Product Officer Fidji Simo noted that the model took months to develop and was carefully integrated into the platform.

GPT-5.2 comes in three versions: Instant for fast responses, Thinking for structured tasks, and Pro for high-precision answers.

OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, confirmed it will continue supporting GPT-5.1, GPT-5, and GPT-4.1 on its API.
