Organizing Committee Prepares for 2025 World Table Tennis Championship in Doha

Doha: The Organizing Committee for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha 2025 continues its preparations for the event, which will take place from May 17 to 25, featuring 640 players from 127 countries. Chair of the Facilities Committee for the tournament, Ahmed Khalil Al Mohannadi, confirmed that the Lusail and Qatar University halls are ready to host the competitions.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Mohannadi stated in a press release that preparations are progressing smoothly, with significant efforts being made to welcome the participating delegations. He noted the growing demand for tickets to the championship and anticipated a large turnout from fans.

Al Mohannadi also emphasized the honor of representing the national team at international events, urging fans to support national players throughout the competition. Meanwhile, Karl Jindrak, the director of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha 2025, praised the preparations for the event, which adhere to the highest international standards.

Jindrak expressed the International Table Tennis Federation's satisfaction with the ongoing efforts and commended the Qatar Table Tennis Association for their role in hosting the championship. He conveyed confidence in Qatar's capabilities, highlighting the country's experience in organizing major global sports events. This edition of the World Championship will be Qatar's second time hosting, following the 2004 tournament.
