Palestine Foreign Ministry Warns of Occupation’s Expansionist Plans in Gaza, West Bank

Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the occupation's schemes against the Palestinian people while stepping up its crimes and violations, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the northern occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, a ministry statement on Tuesday called on the international community to provide protection for the Palestinian people, who have been subjected to war crimes for a year and a half, resulting in mass massacres and forced displacement in most of the targeted governorates.

It stressed that the demolitions and forced evictions taking place in Rafah and the Tel Al Sultan neighborhood, along with the occupation's expansion of the crime of demolishing homes and buildings in Jenin and Tulkarm, in addition to the crimes of killing, field executions, and forced demographic change, are all damning evidence of its expansionist plans based on displacement and annexation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the lack of international accountability for Israel as an occupying power encourages it to persist in implementing its expansionist colonial plans, undermining the chances of implementing the two-state solution and leading to further escalation and instability in the region.
