Palestinian Child Wounded by Israeli Army Fire in Southern Gaza

Gaza city: A Palestinian child was injured after being targeted by Israeli occupation forces in the southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that the child sustained serious injuries after the occupation army shot him in al-Batn al-Samin area, south of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement, with warplanes launching intensive airstrikes targeting the eastern areas of Khan Yunis city. Tanks also fired heavily towards the city. Field sources further reported that the occupation army carried out demolition operations affecting entire residential blocks in the eastern part of the city.

In the northern part of the Gaza Strip, artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City, with explosions reported in the eastern part of the city. On Tuesday, the occupation army killed six Palestinians and wounded others in a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments across the northern, central, and southern areas of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 72,037 martyrs and 171,666 injuries. The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on October 10, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump initiative to end the war on Gaza.
