Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tuesday, condemned the Israeli occupation's use of starvation and thirst as tools in its genocide, displacement, and annexation campaign against the Palestinian people, calling for an immediate international intervention to force Israel to end its policy of starvation, allowing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that the occupation's ongoing crimes in the occupied West Bank, such as those taking place in Jenin, Tulkarm, and their refugee camps, are following the same genocidal and displacement patterns as those of Gaza.
The statement also expressed serious concern over Israel's attempts to normalize its presence among Palestinian civilians, accompanied by crimes, violations, and actions resulting from the movements of its military vehicles, destroying infrastructure, homes, streets, vehicles, and the livelihoods of citizens in a systematic and provocative manner.
Furthermore, the ministry expressed its dissatisfaction with the international community's tolerance of the manifestations of starvation, genocide, and displacement, as well as its failure to implement its decisions regarding halting the open and comprehensive aggression of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their rights.
It demanded international courage to respect international legitimacy and the precautionary orders issued by the International Court of Justice, calling for an end to Israel's impunity as an occupying power under international law and the obligations of the Geneva Conventions.
