Palestinian Foreign Ministry Warns of Israeli Intent to Commit Displacement Crimes

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the Israeli occupation authorities' intention to implement displacement projects against the Palestinian people, annex their ancestors' lands, and conquer them.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Thursday, the ministry deemed the Israeli measures as an extension of the genocidal war, war crimes, and crimes against humanity that have been committed against the Palestinian people and reflect the absence of the Israeli peace partner.

It stressed that these measures prolong the conflict by denying the Palestinian people of their legitimate and just rights, emphasizing that the responses against these measures underscore that Israel stands isolated in the face of the international unanimity that rejects day after day the crimes of displacement and annexation.

These responses stress the importance of upholding the rights of the Palestinian people and resolving the conflict in accordance with the principle of a two-state solution, as well as international legitimacy and its resolutions, the statement continued.

The statement welcomed the international unanimity on self-determination for the Palestinian people, rejecting their displacement and immediately executing the United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside the embassies of the State of Palestine and its missions, are continuing their political and diplomatic movement, as well as legal international efforts to deepen the international unanimity on rejecting the schemes of displacement and annexation, the statement said.

It highlighted that this movement intends to urge them to immediately act in enabling the State of Palestine and its government to discharge their duties and help the Palestinians by buttressing the elements of their resilience to end the occupation and realize the Palestinian State on the ground.
