Gaza: All hospitals in Rafah Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, have gone out of service, with the exception of Tal Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital, which is struggling on its own to continue functioning and providing services to patients, due to the deliberate targeting of these hospitals by the Israeli occupation army. Palestinian health services stated that, since the start of the attack on Rafah, six hospitals have gone out of service in light of the continued Israeli incursion and its deliberate targeting of many hospitals and primary care centers. The sources pointed out that the attacks led to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, Abu Al-Walid Central Clinic, Rafah Field Hospital II, Kuwait Specialized Hospital, Indonesian Field Hospital, and Tal Al-Sultan Clinic being out of service, adding that Israeli attacks on hospitals and medical centers caused severe damage, murdered many health personnel working in them, and made it more difficult for citizens to reach them. Since May 6, the Israeli occupation ar my has launched a ground attack on Rafah. On May 7, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) occupied the Palestinian side of the Rafah land crossing, preventing the flow of humanitarian aid, and the sick and wounded from leaving the besieged Gaza Strip to get medical treatment. The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, from all sides (air, land and sea) since Oct. 7, 2023, murdering at least 36,050 Palestinians -most of whom are children and women- and injuring at least 81,026 others, while thousands of civilians remain under the rubble.
