A Palestinian youth was injured Wednesday by occupation forces' gunfire in Jenin city and camp. The young man was shot in the hip, bringing the total number of injuries since yesterday to more than 20, including serious injuries, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said. The occupation forces have deployed additional military reinforcements to several neighborhoods in the city and within the camp, accompanied by intensive surveillance drone activity over the city and camp. This morning, the Israeli occupation forces conducted raids and searches targeting dozens of homes in the camp's neighborhoods. They arrested several Palestinians, assaulted and mistreated them, vandalized their homes, and caused widespread destruction. Many young men were subjected to on-the-spot interrogations. The destruction of infrastructure led to power, telecoms, and internet outages in large parts of the city and camp. The occupation forces continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital, with snipers stationed near the hospital, causing a severe shortage of medical supplies. Source: Qatar News Agency
