Sinjil: A Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in an attack launched by settlers Friday on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that a young man was martyred after being severely beaten by settlers in the town of Sinjil. Additionally, 10 Palestinians were injured and suffered fractures due to attacks in Khirbet al Tall in Jabal al Batin, south of Sinjil.
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers attacked residents as they attempted to reach Khirbet al Tall in Jabal al Batin. This group, accompanied by foreign activists, sought to remove the settlement outpost there. The attack resulted in injuries to 10 citizens from the villages and towns of Sinjil, al Mazra'a al Sharqiya, Abwein, and Jaljalia, north of Ramallah.
Sources noted that an activist was run over by a settler, and two ambulances were attacked, resulting in shattered windows. Several Palestinians, including children, sustained injuries and bruises after being attacked by settlers, who were under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces near the village of Al Minya, southeast of Bethlehem.
Furthermore, settlers, with the protection of Israeli forces, attacked approximately 10 homes in the Wadi Sa'ir area near the village, throwing stones, shattering windows, and causing panic among the residents. The sources added that a number of citizens suffered from suffocation after the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at homes.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported treating a 3-year-old girl who sustained a head injury after being attacked by settlers near the village.
