Palestinian PM, Belgian Delegation Discuss Priorities of Belgian Support, Areas of Cooperation

Palestine: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and a delegation from Belgium, including Belgian Consul Anick Van Calster and Director of the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation in Palestine and Jordan Heidi De Bau, discussed the priorities of Belgian support for Palestine, areas of cooperation, and matters of mutual interest. The discussions highlighted the significance of Belgian involvement in supporting Palestinian initiatives.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to counter Israeli measures, including colonial expansion and annexation plans. He stressed the need for support in relief and recovery initiatives across various sectors in the West Bank and Gaza, such as infrastructure, health, and education.

The Belgian delegation reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing political, economic, and developmental support for Palestine. They expressed a particular focus in the coming period on joint initiatives in the Gaza Strip, which aim to advance remote work projects, distance learning, and improvements in the health sector.
