The Palestinian Presidency has affirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line and crossing it is utterly unacceptable, condemning the call of the Minister of National Security in the occupations government to construct a synagogue within the Mosque. Additionally, the Palestinian Presidency warned against attempts of dragging the region into a religious war that would burn everyone. In a statement, official spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh called on the international community, particularly the US Administration to promptly act to stop the practices of the extreme Israeli government and force it to adhere to the prevailing legal and historic status quo in the Mosque, stressing that its 144-dunum area belongs to Muslims only. In a statement, the Palestinian Presidency warned of the perilous threats to establish a synagogue in Al-Aqsa and condemned them as an equivocal invitation to demolish, decrying the extreme colonizers' storming of the Mosque and performing Talmudic rituals on it s courtyards. The statement called for an effective Arab, Islamic and global action to pressure Israel into putting an end to the practices of the Minister of National Security in the occupation's government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and his provocative stances and remarks, by imposing deterrent sanctions on the extreme colonists who instigate escalation and violence and expansion of the conflict cycle. For his part, Palestinian Chief Justice and Advisor to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Sidqi Al Habbash appealed the Arab and Islamic world, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Arab League to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli schemes. In a statement, Al Habbash said the demolition of the Mosque and replacing it with a synagogue is a declaration of war. On Monday, the Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said: "The policy allows prayers on the Temple Mount, there is equal law between Jews and Muslims - I would build a synagogue there,".
