Palestinian Woman Martyred, Three Children Wounded by Israeli Occupation Forces in Gaza

Gaza city: A Palestinian woman was martyred and three children were wounded on Monday by Israeli occupation forces east of Gaza City and in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a woman was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Shakoush area, north of Rafah. The incident further escalates the tense situation in the region, with three children also reported wounded by Israeli fire near the Shuja'iyya intersection, east of Gaza City.

Israeli forces have continued their artillery shelling and helicopter gunship attacks east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the area. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Monday that the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 238, with 600 wounded, highlighting the ongoing hostilities despite the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement continue through the targeting and killing of civilians, bombing of areas in Gaza, and preventing the opening of the Rafah land crossing for the travel of the sick and wounded for treatment. Additionally, there have been hindrances in the entry of aid in the agreed-upon form and quantities, further compounding the dire situation for the residents of Gaza.
