Hebron: An Israeli military raid on the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the West Bank, on Saturday, injured a Palestinian young man by live ammunition, while it caused several others to suffer from suffocation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli forces stormed the camp, which led to confrontations with the local residents. During these confrontations, Israeli soldiers fired live bullets, stun grenades, and toxic tear gas. A young man was injured with a gunshot wound to the foot and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It added that dozens of others were affected by inhaling the toxic gas, for which they received treatment on the spot.
In a related incident, Israeli forces also raided the town of Dura and the al-Arroub refugee camp, located in the southern and northern parts of the Hebron province, respectively.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas directly at citizens and their homes, resulting in several cases of suffocation from gas inhalation, which were then treated on-site.
