One paramedic was killed and five others injured, on Monday, in an Israeli raid on a health center in Bazouriye town in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the Israeli raid resulted in killing a paramedic operating with the Health Authority - Civil Defense center in Bazourieh, and injuring five persons, among them three paramedics from the authority. With this incident, the total number of casualties among paramedics since the start of the aggression rises to 164 fatalities and 275 injuries. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reiterated its denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces' determination to target medical centers and personnel and appealed to the international community to put an end to this long episode of inhumane assaults. Since September 23, 2024, Israel has expanded its raids to include the entire regions of Lebanon, including Beirut, and embarked on a ground incursion into southern Lebanon, causing thousands of Lebanese casualties and forcing over a million peop le to flee their homes.
