The Qatari beach volleyball team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024 after a straight-sets victory over Chile in the Round of 16 match on Monday. The Qatari duo, Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, defeated Chilean pair Marco Grimalt and Esteban Grimalt with scores of 21-14 and 21-13. Dominating both sets, the Qatari team secured their place in the quarterfinals, moving one step closer to winning a medal.
