Doha: Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the inaugural Doha Legal Forum will convene on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum, themed "Emerging Trends and Forward-Looking Insights," is organized by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC). The event is set to feature participation from ministers of justice, legal scholars, policy makers, and experts from various countries, thereby emphasizing Qatar's role as a hub for legal dialogue and expertise sharing on both legal and global stages.

The primary aim of the forum is to highlight the Qatari legislative environment and its contribution to supporting domestic and foreign investment. Discussions will focus on legal and regulatory frameworks related to investment and emerging technologies, governance issues, conflict settlement mechanisms, and envisioning the future of legislation and judiciary.
