Damascus, People's Assembly held Sunday its sixth term of the eleventh regular session of the third legislative term ,chaired by Hammouda Sabbagh Speaker of the People's Assembly . The Assembly approved the draft law that includes exemption from fines for late payment of irrigation fees, rental fees, and rental fees for state-owned real estate. Minister of Water Resources, Hussein Makhlouf, indicated that the draft law would encourage farmers to continue working and continue the production process. In turn, the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Engineer Mohamed Hassan Qatna, pointed out the importance of the draft law in revitalizing the economic and developmental situation of the agricultural sector, which has been greatly affected during the recent period, as a result of climate change, the earthquake disaster, and other factors led to an increase in production costs and their impact on net profits.
