Damascus, People's Assembly held its 1st session of the 11th regular round of the 3rd legislative term, headed by Hammouda Sabbagh, Speaker of the Council, and in the presence of Prime Minister Engineer Hussein Arnous and a number of ministers. At the outset of the session, Sabbagh stressed the need to continue cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities and to continue to work hard to meet the requirements and aspirations of the Syrian people. Sabbagh sent a salute of respect to the Syrian people, a salute of honor and reverence to the souls of the country's martyrs, and a salute of pride to the men of the Syrian Arab Army who defend the precious soil of the homeland and express their loyalty to President Bashar al-Assad. ?For his part, Engineer Arnous made a presentation in which he stated that the government, at the beginning of the new year, had adopted two tracks, the first of which was to assign all ministries to submit a working paper on the ministry's general policy, and the seco nd track, which is considered integrated with the first track, is to provide each ministry with a list of the most important priority objectives it would work towards in 2024.
