The Police Academy received on Saturday the 10th batch of candidate students, numbering 122, including 6 candidate students from the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
New students will undergo a 50-day long first foundation program through which students will gradually transition from their civilian lives to their new military lives, receiving training and learning military discipline and communication.
The Academy also received the 2nd batch of candidate students for the Police Science Diploma program at the Police College, 118 students from the Ministry of Interior and 30 students from Lekhwiya.
New students will undergo a 50-day long first foundation program through which students will gradually transition from their civilian lives to their new military lives, learning self-reliance and military discipline.
The foundation program consists of two stages, which include military training in infantry, weapons, physical fitness, and shooting, in addition to introductory lectures in military discipline, the military service law, and first aid training.
Upon the completion of the foundation program, trainees join the academic program, consisting of police and legal subjects, in addition to general requirement subjects such as the Arabic and English languages, IT, and the history of Qatar
