Police and Al Arabi Triumph Over Al Khor and Al Gharafa in Volleyball League

Doha: Police and Al Arabi secured well-deserved victories on Friday against Al Khor and Al Gharafa respectively, in the first round of the Qatar Volleyball League for Men. All matches are being held at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall, with 10 clubs participating.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the first match, Police achieved an easy win against Al Khor, 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-11). This victory brings their total to 15 points, placing them second after 6 matches, just one point behind Al Wakrah, who lead with 16 points.

Meanwhile, Al Khor suffered their fourth defeat, having won three matches, leaving them with 8 points in seventh place after seven matches.

In another match, Al Arabi secured their third victory in the competition, defeating Al Gharafa in straight sets (25-14, 26-24, 25-18).

Following this win, Al Arabi climbed to fifth place with 9 points from 5 matches, while Al Gharafa suffered their fifth consecutive defeat and remain at the bottom of the table with zero points.

Police will face Al Shamal on Saturday in a match within the first division.
