Students of the Documentary Studies course, which is one of the courses of the Master of Multimedia, participated in the activities of the "International Forum for Arab Documentary Film: Aesthetics, Connotations, and the Renaissance Role", which was held in our sister country Algeria. The forum featured many prominent topics and contributions from 10 countries, led by a group of directors, actors, workers, academics and activists in the field of documentary film. The forum addressed many controversial and forward-looking topics in the field of documentary film, and the most important challenges and opportunities available to documentary film in light of the presence of influential and influential figures in the Arab documentary experience. The forum highlighted many topics related to defining the term and concept related to documentary and recording films, the ethics of documentary work, the limits of maintaining credibility and reflecting reality, philosophical and framing theories in the documentary con text, modernity and digitization and their impact on documentary films, artificial intelligence and documentary films, and many documentary topics in an applied, framing and research framework. In turn, Dr. Khadija Breik welcomed the attendees, including Palestinian and Arab academics, researchers, and directors, including students from Palestine Polytechnic University. In turn, the students of the Documentary Studies course at Batna University and Dr. Khadija Brik expressed their great thanks for this opportunity to participate, appreciating the importance of the topics of the scientific papers presented at the forum and the importance of participating in these forums in terms of enriching and strengthening their academic and scientific experience specialized in the field of documentary studies. For his part, Dr. Nasr Jawabreh, Coordinator of the Multimedia Master's Program at Palestine Polytechnic University, praised the importance of artistic forums in promoting critical thinking in the field of films. He explained that these forums play a pivotal role in building an intellectual philosophy that cares about humanity and enhances awareness of the role of art in establishing philosophical, scientific and academic concepts. Jawabreh stressed that films represent a platform for developing a new intellectual trend based on a deep understanding of the role of art in society. He added that these forums open the way for researchers and students to gain rich experiences through communication and networking with diverse expertise, which enhances the richness of their academic and artistic experiences, and supports them in exploring new horizons in their research career.
