Doha: The Department of Meteorology has warned of expected poor horizontal visibility over northern areas at first.
According to Qatar News Agency, the department's daily weather report indicates that inshore conditions until 6:00 pm on Monday will be misty to foggy over northern areas initially. These conditions are expected to transition to moderate temperatures and partly cloudy skies at times during the day, with relatively cold to cold temperatures at night.
Offshore, conditions are anticipated to be hazy with occasional cloud cover. Inshore winds will vary, primarily blowing from the northwest to the northeast at speeds of 3 to 13 KT. Offshore winds will shift from the southwest to the northwest at similar speeds.
The sea state is expected to be relatively calm, with inshore waters ranging from 1 to 2 feet and offshore seas between 1 and 3 feet. Visibility inshore is projected to range from 4 to 9 km but may drop to 2 km or less over northern areas initially. Offshore visibility is expected to be between 4 and 9 km.
