Doha: The Department of Meteorology has warned of poor horizontal visibility both inshore and offshore on Tuesday, due to mist and fog, particularly during the early hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, the department's daily weather report states that inshore conditions until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday will be misty to foggy at first, becoming partly cloudy at times with moderate temperatures during the day and relatively cold to cold conditions at night.
Offshore weather will also be misty to foggy initially, with some clouds at times.
Inshore winds will be variable at first, shifting to southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 5 to 15 knots, while offshore winds will be mainly easterly to southeasterly at 5 to 15 knots, gusting up to 20 knots northward by night.
Sea conditions inshore will range between 1 and 3 feet, while offshore seas will be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 6 feet northward by night.
Visibility inshore is expected to range between 4 and 9 kilometers, dropping to 2 kilometers or less at times, while offshore visibility will also range between 4 and 9 kilometers, decreasing to 1 kilometer or less initially.
