Tottenham: Tottenham Hotspur announced Wednesday the dismissal of Danish head coach Thomas Frank from his position following a string of poor results, most recently a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United in the English Premier League.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement published on the club's official website, Tottenham said recent results and performances had prompted the board to make a change at this stage of the season.

"Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we were determined to give him the time and support necessary to build for the future together. However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this stage of the season is necessary," the statement said.

Tottenham have slipped to 16th place in the league standings with 29 points following a run of disappointing results.
