Doha: The organizing committee of the Doha Equestrian Tour is continuing its preparations for the launch of the HH the Father Amir's Equestrian Prix. The first leg of the tournament will be held at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab on Jan. 2 and will run for three days, with the participation of more than 240 riders and a total prize purse exceeding EUR 3.3 million.
According to Qatar News Agency, the committee announced that tickets for the tournament are available through the "Road to Qatar" platform, with prices starting from QR 50 for general admission. The platform also offers other options, including VIP tent and VIP lounge hospitality packages, which provide several benefits such as exclusive access to the VIP area, premium seating, valet parking, refreshments, and a daily riders' menu.
In this context, Abdullah Al Qashouti, Director of Marketing and Communications for the tournament, confirmed that equestrian fans in Qatar and the region are in for a world-class competition, with the participation of a selection of the most prominent international riders, guaranteeing exciting and competitive rounds. He added that the organizing committee was keen to provide a range of accompanying and recreational events for different categories of the public, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy an integrated atmosphere that combines sports and entertainment, and reflects the global character of the tournament and Qatari hospitality.
