Doha: The Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Joint Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit was convened today in Doha, State of Qatar, under the chairmanship of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.
According to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, this Emergency Summit is an expression of Arab and Islamic solidarity with Qatar and aims to develop a unified stance against the aggression, which poses a threat to regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Arab and Islamic States, as well as the Secretaries-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States (LAS). The Preparatory Ministerial Meeting is focused on discussing the draft resolution to be presented at the Joint Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit, scheduled for adoption tomorrow.
