Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad issued Legislative Decree No. (21) of 2024 amending Articles (20) and (103) of Law No. (8) of 2020 regulating the work of chambers of commerce and joint chambers of commerce and industry in the governorates. This Degree came with the aim of developing the procedures of the electoral process and achieving the greatest degree of transparency and justice in the election of members of the boards of directors of chambers of commerce and benefiting from technical development.
