Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad issued on Monday Legislative Decree No. 22 of 2024 amending Article 1 of Law No. 18 of 2019, so that the percentage of appointing distinguished graduates from institutes, departments and specializations that grant a technical diploma in public bodies in each academic year without announcement or competition will be raised to 10 percent instead of 5 percent. This decree contributes to meeting the public authorities' need for distinguished and outstanding technical graduates and achieving optimal investment in the capabilities of the first graduates.
