Doha: HE President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, arrived in Doha today for a work visit to the State of Qatar. His Excellency and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, and HE Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the State of Qatar, Odette Yidi David.

According to Qatar News Agency, the visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Colombia and Qatar. The presence of high-ranking officials at the welcoming ceremony underscores the importance placed on this visit, which is expected to include discussions on various areas of cooperation between the two countries.
